Amara Ellis is back in Hawkins older, smarter, and totally not here to stir up drama. (Okay, maybe just a little.) She's got a hidden heart condition, unfinished business with Nancy Wheeler, and a very inconvenient crush on Steve Harrington. Oh, and something weird is going on in town... Monsters? Missing kids? High school heartbreak? Yeah Amara came back with baggage, but Hawkins has even more.

There are other things Jackson hates more than Democrats and Liberals. It's blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Middle Easterns, Jews, and Muslims. The list is long and his hatred varies depending on the events of the day. And recently it's been a certain East African doctor that has been assigned to his son who has cancer. He makes it very clear to her that he doesn't like her kind but the tent in his pants and the racing of his heart when he sees her, say otherwise. He tries to hate her, he truly does. It's safer for both of them considering his white supremacist family wouldn't blink at the thought of killing her. But the more he tries to harden his heart against her the more his heart fights him on it.

RANKED #1 in 1950s (7-12-18) RANKED #4 in history (6-1-18) RANKED #3 in history (7-12-18) After the Supreme Court ruled that schools were officially integrated in the Brown Vs Brown case, black and white kids were able to go to school together. There was plenty of hate from white people, as black kids started going to school. Black kids feared for their lives every time they stepped foot into the schools. Charleston was raised to see black people as inferior to him, which is why he was confused when he started to fall for Gladys. Gladys was the black girl in his gym class who caught his eye. With the Civil Rights Movement going on and racism from left to right, the two teenagers had to fight for their love. They were not accepted in society, but that didn't stop them from being together. REVIEWS: "It's only the first chapter, and I love it." ~ alrightdean "I just LOVE how you incorporate the slang. It makes it feel like this is an actual story that was written in the 50s." ~ SheIsTheKnight "Probably one of the best books I've ever read. Keep up the good work." ~ GimmeTheWifiSis "Love this book already." ~ OSM1616 sincerelyjayy 2017 | all rights reserved ©

(If you read 'Bunny' then you know that towards the end there is a movie plot. I came up with it just so the movie Willow would be in sounded realistic and good but I couldn't let it go so I wrote this book based off of it but with a few changes added after finding out there's apparently already a movie similar to the movie mentioned in 'Bunny'. This story contains true events and is now based on multiple real stories put into one.) "God owes me now and I want it paid back in full." In the south of Mississippi during the civil rights movement, two families seem tied together regardless of how many times they try to break apart. In the height of racial injustice and the fight back, the Moore and Ross families are plagued with hard choices, evil people and scary experiences. Read this book to be a part of both family stories as they learn it's okay to be selfish and live the life they deserve. (Warning: story contains violence, murder, attempted r***, slurs, and other harsh language. Reader discretion advised.)
