Draco reached up and grabbed Harry's shirt in an attempt to catch his balance which resulted in the two boys falling to the ground with Harry on top. Harry's cheeks were red with embarrassment as he tried to get up. All he managed to do was knee Draco in the leg. Draco put his hands on Harry's hips. "Stop. Let me." In one fluid motion, Draco flipped them around so he was kneeling above Harry. "And for future reference," Draco smirked, bringing his lips down to brush against his. "I'm always on top."

It's been fifteen years since Draco last saw Potter, but here he is in Draco's Ocularistry clinic, claiming one of Draco's products malfunctioned while he was painting and cost him an eye. Draco's ready to fit Potter with a prosthesis and send him on his merry way, but then the rest of Draco's patients start seeing mysterious symbols through their eyes, and the resulting blow to Draco's public reputation drags Scorpius's promising campaign to be the Ministry of Magic's official Creature Liaison through the mud. He ends up drugging 12 year old Draco with a love potion meant for giants, and also mistakenly gets Harry Potter as the love interest. The feelings change slightly but it's only when Draco goes through puberty and a major event occurs, that the love potion starts taking full effect. He suddenly falls explosively in love with his biggest enemy. A love that doesn't disappear after the potion stops working or when their love becomes dangerously deadly. After the Battle of Hogwarts, all students were asked to return to repeat their year for a proper education, much unlike what they received the previous year with Death Eaters as professors. After Draco helps Harry calm down after a panic attack, they quickly learn that mental and physical changes (such as Draco's dyed blue hair) were not the only changes that took place, but emotional ones as well.

Harry is late to potions class and gets seated beside Malfoy for a potions project. Each pair has a specific potion they must brew that causes a different emotion.
