Sophie and Fitz have been dating, somewhat happily, for a while, but soon, Sophie can't keep up with being in a relationship with Fitz, keeping her grades up, and dealing with the Neverseen. She decides she and Fitz should take a break until she figures everything out for herself. Fitz thinks it means Sophie is implying she is too good for him. He gets angry and starts stirring up lots of drama for no reason. Fitz convinces all of their friends to hate Sophie, but Keefe stays by Sophie's side when no one else does.
