Kageyama is a college student who suffers from anxiety and depression. He struggles through his classes and any other situations where he needs to be around people. He is fascinated by a very cute, very outgoing redhead in one of his classes and wonders obsessively about how someone seems so at ease around people. He develops a tiny crush, but never speaks to the redhead -- doesn't even know his name -- until one night at a crowded movie premier. Then it seems he runs into Hinata all the time. Is the universe trying to tell him something? Can the energetic boy with the megawatt smile find a way to connect with the painfully shy, socially awkward, anxious classmate? Will Hinata's gentle and accepting nature calm the worry that constantly plagues Kageyama and finally give him some peace? CW: anxiety, depression, self-harm College AU; all characters are 18+.
