Akira Sato. Ein einfacher Name, der vor allem im europäischen Raum große Bekanntheit hat. Sie galt als größter Nachwuchsstar der Volleyball-Nationalmannschaft der Junioren und hatte eine große Karriere vor sich. Bis ein Unfall geschah. Mit diesem Unfall verlor sie ihre Mutter und ihre Karriere. Kann ein 17-jähriges Mädchen diesem Verlust standhalten? Als sie es fast nicht mehr aushielt packt ihr Vater die Koffer und zieht mit seiner Tochter in die ehemalige Heimat ihrer Mutter. Hier in Sendai wird sie nun an die Karasuno-Oberschule gehen und die Schule abschließen. Genau an die Schule, an der die Krähen nicht mehr fliegen können, so heißt es über das Volleyball-Team der Schule. Eigentlich will sie nichts mehr mit diesem Sport zu tun haben. Doch das Schicksal meint es gut mit ihr und sie wird gleich zum Volleyball-Training eingeladen. Reicht das aus, um ihre Leidenschaft für den Sport wieder zu entfachen?

Als Schwester von Daichi Sawamura spiele ich ebenfalls Volleyball. Da ich nun jetzt in der Nationalmannschaft Japans in Tokyo spiele muss ich auch leider meine Schule wechseln. Schon bald beginne ich ein chaotisches aber tolles Leben in Tokyo und auf der Nekoma High.
