Jacqui had no reason to prolong her stay... or her help. She had already helped the Jedi enough. And he had no reason to allow her to stay and he was completely capable on investigating the assassination attempts by himself. • Obi had said that. And Jacqui knew it was true. But Jessica shouldn't know that, it'll misplace her trust. She'll grow uncertain about Jacqui overall. She could even turn her in. Jacqui smiled sadly, "The Code has been broken. We are no longer Sicarius', Jessica, there is no such thing." Jessica's hands fall from her shoulder, but her eyes burned with determination, "Then we are the only true Sicarius." Jacqui had forgotten how young this girl was. But now she saw it. Always hopeful. Always. Jacqui smiled ruefully, "Sure, kiddo." She wanted to weep again - but that was stupid, childish. "Now go to your Spiritual Animal. I must speak to the Jedi." She didn't want to think about him. She wanted to run, but she never ran, it wasn't in her nature.

*this story was written by Gibslythe on ao3* "Two whole months of free laundry in exchange for two weeks of being my fake boyfriend. Deal?" Keith hesitated for a moment. Was this really worth it? Hardly. Lance was an asshole, and he wasn't sure what fake dating would entail. But, free laundry was free laundry, right? "Alright, it's a deal." Or: Lance makes the mistake of telling his Mom he has a boyfriend coming home with him for Christmas. Keith makes the mistake of agreeing to be Lance's 'fake boyfriend'. This is actually the best fic I've ever read. It emotionally destroyed me and then put me back together only to kill me again. Read on ao3 : http://archiveofourown.org/works/7454385
