During the 3 years while Hiroki went off to study abroad, away from Japan, Li-an stayed behind and continued his education at college. It's the same college that Mi-Noo just so happens to be attending. When Li-an meets Mi-Noo for the first time, the latter is emotionally devastated after his humiliating encounter with his childhood friends Ji-a, Si-Hoon, and Sae-Hyun. Li-an, upon learning about the poor boy's situation, takes it upon himself to help Mi-Noo improve himself and get back at those who betrayed him.
