This story is going to be different. Instead of being saved by Toothless, both he and Hiccup are presumed dead. Those are the 'death' that change the Archipelago forever. Clans reunited, the vikings grow stronger and the dragons have become a part of their life. In the blink of an eye, seven years have passed and the Archipelago has grown used to the peaceful nature of their new life. But how would they react when a war between two unknown forces are knocking at their doorstep. A war that could end the Archipelago or turn the Archipelago into something more. Since Berkians can remember, every person in the teenage years will gain the ability to shapeshift into their spirit animal. You don't know what age you'll gain the ability exactly but it always happens in your teens. Throughout Berkian history, not one Viking has ever had a dragon as their spiritual form. From what I'm guessing it's because Vikings loath dragons so much, hating dragons is part of their personality so it makes no sense for a dragon loathing Viking to be a dragon. I wonder what would happen if a Berkian turned into a dragon? Third Person POV

Hiccup is bullied and teased everyday. But one day he befriends a night fury. When Hiccup is choosen to kill the Monstrous Nightmare in front of the entire village. He runs away from everything. 5 YEARS LATER. Hiccup gets shot down by Berkians and sees his father for the first time after 5 years. Will he stay or will he continue his life with the dragons whom he calls "the family he never had." Looks can be deceiving. This isn't the Hiccup they all knew... THERE WILL BE HICCSTRID... This is my FIRST story so the grammar might not be good. If you get triggered about something in mys story, don't worry, it probably triggered me too.
