This is where the legend of the Shadow Dragon and The Shadow Rider.

When Hiccup was 15 years old when he shot down a Nightfury, and he was 15 years old when he ran away on the back of that same Nightfury, leaving behind his village and his old life. He was 20 when it all caught up to him.

Y/n Haddock, a young viking whom had ran away from home long ago and never returned leaving the Chief, Chieftess, and younger brother Hiccup putting him as next in line chief. After many years of their absence Berk had befriended dragons and Hiccup had trained a Night Fury, he also gained the deserved respect from Berkian's after years. Hiccup and his friends Astrid, Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffnut and Tuffnut along with their dragons Toothless, Stormfly, Meatlug, Hookfang, Barf and Belch are now flying around the archipelago looking for new species of dragons and fighting Viggo and Ryker. When dragons start fleeing, ships begin to sink, hunters begin to drop like flies and Viggo starts to be more cautious what'll the dragon riders do with the unidentified species? What'll Y/n do when they receive a bounty?

Hiccup has earned the privilege to kill a dragon, but he doesn't want to kill any dragon, he wants to be a Dragon Rider. So, he decides to run away with his Night Fury and makes a real friend along the way who has lost her home and is an outcast like him. Now it's the two of them traveling everywhere, searching for their own home while making more friends along the way.

An alternate universe where on the day when Hiccup planned to leave Berk forever with Toothless after being selected to kill the Monsterous Nightmare. This time, Astrid didn't follow him, and he and Toothless were able to leave. He travels for a few days alone with his dragon as the vikings of Berk speculate what had happened to the Chief's son. On an island, outside the archipelago, he meets a certain red-haired man, and his raven-haired sister, who had been shipwrecked after their island was attacked and burned, leaving them to be the only survivors. An alliance gets formed, and quickly they become a family of three wayward teenagers and a dragon who goes on insane adventures together. But rumors beyond the archipelago don't stay out for long. What happens when Berk finds out the boy they doubted and ridiculed may not be so dead after all? I do not own Httyd or any of these characters. A long time ago, before humans or even dragons roamed the Earth, there were the titans. Massive beasts with powers you could only dream of. The world had more radiation on the surface for food for the multitude of titans. There was an alpha species known as Gojira or Godzilla that was the 'King' of the monsters. He didn't force the titans to do anything except not to mindlessly destroy and Godzilla kept the balance. But then, a creature came from the stars, King Ghidorah, the first dragon. The 3 headed golden dragon sought nothing but destruction for the Earth and cause a divide in the titans. Some wanting balance, and others wanting to destroy. Godzilla grew to hate King Ghidorah and the 2 Alpha titans dueled in the fridge wastelands just beyond the Archipeligo. On glacier island. Thousands of years ago, Godzilla banished Ghidorah and sealed him inside the glacier but Ghidorah swore revenge before he was locked away. Before Ghidorah was locked away, he produced the dragons on the Earth, creatures much smaller but still his children in a way. Dragons are aliens in this world. Godzilla was badly damaged by the battle and went to hibernate for thousands of years to heal, and before he wants to sleep, he commanded all other titans to hibernate as well. He hated dragons since they did not belong on Earth in his opinion. So when he is awakened into a new world where dragons roam everywhere. People live alongside dragons. And some people have heard about the titans and Ghidorah and wish to awaken and somehow control the monsters. When Ghidorah is brought back and masses titans, dragon, and human army, can the combined efforts of Godzilla and his titans, Hiccup and the Berkians, and Toothless and his dragons stop the world from being plunged into darkness? This takes place after the second movie. Godzilla all the while has a grudge against dragons, can Hiccup Haddock somehow convince the King of the Monsters that Dragons can be forgiven?
