Now tied between her emotions and her home, she tries to keep her friends safe, even as strange feelings swarm beneath. ------------------------------- Book Two: The Flames of Hope The Othermind has taken Pantala. Blue and Swordtail have become the propterty of Queen Wasp. Queen Sequoia, Belladonna, Nettle, and countless other Leafwings have been infected with the Breath of evil. Hawthorn had lied. A fellowship of twelve dragons has been chosen to return to the other continent and uncover the truth, to go where no dragon has ever gone before: under the earth, into the caves and taverns of Pantala. They must find the Aybss, a mysterious chasm that might be the key to defeating the Othermind and rescuing their friends. Little do they expect it, but when they land, they are intercepted by Hivewings. Moonwatcher is captured, along with Mandrake and a third of the team. Sundew and Lynx are forced to leave the others, in order to save them. Leaving Holly in charge. Now pushed into the role of leader, Holly must lead the remaining members of the fellowship into the unknown to reveal the secrets of the mind control . . . or die trying.

Dawn isn't a normal skywing. Aside from her strange colored scales and her inability to survive a normal conversation with another dragon, there happens to be a nightwing with a troubling past stuck in her head. And things only get worse when she's enrolled in the Jade Mountain school, meeting all kinds of dragons with all kinds of problems of their own. And when strange things start happening to the two-in-one dragon, figuring out a normal school life is the least of her worries.

When two dragons hatch from the same egg, one is always destined to have a long and happy life. The other's survival is never guaranteed. Starchaser was never meant to survive her birth, the fact that she did was pure luck. Her life wasn't the best, going through much torture because of her small size. Going to school seems like a death sentence, until she meets a certain SandWing that just might be able to give her the happy ending and love she's always wanted... I don't see many of these, so I decided to give all the Qibli fans their happiness. Hope you enjoy. Most of this is the actual book, but it will be changed some, so please don't be all like "Oh, Moon never did that" or "Winter never thought that, did he?" because I will get ticked off.
