Hawkins always was an odd town even before max arrived. she used to live in California and now she lives here in Hawkins with her mom and her older brother. she meets a group of boys who she befriended and they explain everything to her that had happened in Hawkins over the past few years max then also meets el, also known as Eleven. in an fight with the mind slayer a very powerful creature, she lost her brother Billy. he always was abusive and rude to max but deep down he truly cared about max, his last words before he died sacrificing himself for Eleven were: "im sorry" max was devistated after what happened and wouldnt talk to anybody in the group except for y/n. she was also in the group but max only really trusted y/n. they go on all kinds of adventures and y/n helps max survive this shitty town called Hawkins. who knows what kind of trouble the two best friends go through?.
