In an event known as The Seceding, In one of the most well fortified "Super Prisons" in Quebec thousands of Supers escaped into the Canadian wilderness, where they created a "Super Society", from then on they made it their mission to rescue all other Supers and cause as much trouble for the normal people as possible.
