He should have died in that blizzard. He very nearly did. It was only by some dignified twist of fate that Fortuna granted him a second chance. With the insurrection to overthrow King Dark Cacao Cookie having met its catastrophic failure, the only option Affogato now sees for his own survival is to flee the kingdom. However, it soon becomes apparent that quite a few things are different from what he remembers. He doesn't remember a war that left Dark Cacao Kingdom financially unstable. He doesn't remember reviewing documents drafted to amend this situation. Perhaps most importantly, he doesn't remember this being the King that he intended to kill. Fortuna has blessed him graciously with a second chance, and it seems that until now, he hasn't even existed. How rude would it be, then, to squander this golden opportunity? Cross-posted to AO3.

A collection of Cookie Run prompts for me to work on at my own leisure, mostly as an exercise for me to Keep It Brief and work on compartmentalizing scenes, concepts and ideas.
