This story is set in modern day Philadelphia and has most of the characters from EG's novel as well as characters from Sandy Welch's adaptation. The title of the story is inspired by John Mayer's song of the same name (which reminds me a lot of John and Margaret's relationship). I hope you all enjoy it. I appreciate all feedback.

"I want my very own castle; I want tons of servants and men throwing themselves at my feet. I want to be pampered and rich. I want my own bloody fairy tale!" Unfortunately even wishes never went smoothly for Sarah. Instead of getting her happily ever after Sarah was unceremoniously dumped into a world that was both completely alien and chock full of intrigue and peril as well. She got the castle and servants all right but she also got plenty more that wasn't listed in the programme. Now all she could do was bide her time and pray for a way out of the mess before it was too late. Iain McLaughlin swore he'd never marry an Englishwoman. Infamous as the Black Wolf of the Highlands the gruff warrior was used to having everything his own way. But circumstances had a way of changing in the blink of an eye. Even a great laird isn't immune to the dictates of fate. So now he had no choice but to ride forth and claim his prize, whether he wants it or not however is another matter entirely.

Sally Sanborn, who insists she can do almost anything a man can do, stamps down her pride and advertises for full-time help on her chicken farm. Up shows Wilson..."Just Wilson, ma'am." He's a denim-wearing, sexiest butt to wear a pair of jeans, perfect man for the job. But he also comes with a past -- a complicated past. Yet, he works hard, and Sally likes him. As easy as it would be for her to fall in love with him, three things stand in her way: 1) He's younger than her. 2) She's been branded by heartache before and refuses to go through that again. 3) He's out of prison on parole.

The speculation of 1851. It was hailed as a sure prospect, every cotton mill owner who invested was sure to succeed, but what it it failed? The city of Milton was soon to find out as some of the most prominent mills closed their doors leaving hundreds out of work. Within all this seeming calamity was Marlborough Mills and it's master; Mr. John Thornton. He was never one to engage in speculations, but this venture affected him none the less. Then there was Margaret Hale. She was from the south and never cared for his harsh northern ways, or so he thought; but she would always be the only women he would ever love. Now Marlborough Mills was struggling and thru a series of events Mr. Thornton found that his new land lord was none other than Margaret Hale of London. Could John and Margaret find their way back to each other and set matters right or were they always destined to be apart... This story is based on the novel by Elizabeth Gaskell, North and South, and the adaptation by the same name.

Then along comes Ian Fisk...a sexy-as-sin, blind artist that wants nothing more than to sweep Ophelia off her feet...and into his bed. She struggles with his attention, and he refuses to back down. Blindness isn't always a handicap, unless you decide not to see.
