Therapist Nicole Hudson is supposed to have it all, but in reality, she's struggling, and when a forbidden attraction to her new patient, Hunter, drags her into his dangerous world, her life is at as much risk as her heart. Standalone in the Sons of Sin series *** Nicole Hudson has her dream job as a therapist, a supportive family, and incredible friends. But no one knows that she battles every day with her self-worth and a hidden eating disorder, questioning constantly: can she help others heal when she hasn't managed to heal herself? The delicate balance she maintains is upended when she finds herself fascinated by her newest client, a convicted felon on parole, Hunter Scott. His arrogance and defiance are only matched by his mysterious allure. And the more time she spends with Hunter, the more Nicole finds herself challenged at every turn to confront the blurred lines between right and wrong. As the heat between them builds, Nicole is drawn into the dangerous world of organized crime that Hunter inhabits. A world where alliances are forged with blood and trust is a precious rarity, and the only way to survive might be further entangling themselves in the forbidden dance of emotion between them. Life as a child was amazing. Your weight didn't matter. Your clothes didn't matter. Your parents money didn't matter. All that mattered was who you were going to play with, but that's all gone now. My sister hates me, my mom has no time for me, and my dad, well he left me. My life has been one whirlwind after another. Except I'm content with it, till it all comes crashing down. Every television, billboard, and magazine is covered with models. Models that are supposed to be role models, for us. Perfect face, perfect body, perfect life. I have none of those things. All my life I've never cared that I was over weight, and didn't wear makeup. Who knew a boy could change all of that? That's when I decided to starve myself, force myself to look like the girls in the magazines. Who knew all I was doing was slowly killing myself? Life likes to play games, except my game is called Ana and I don't think I will survive. (unedited) Cover by: MadHatter_25

As things go im the "I don't give a shit overachiever". Isn't that contradictory, ha well that's just the half of it. So if this is the case and I seemingly "don't care" then why did I develop my eating disorders. Well lets just say you simply cant judge eating disorders as vanity orientated, that is unless ur an un-educated spas . Sadly im not as invincable as id like. I needed a space to write how it feels to go through recovery, how its changed me for the better, and how difficult it was for myself to realise I had a problem. I want to help others like me so here we go, read to join my dark humoured ride.

Years after the story became a classic, a girl named Alice finds her own Wonderland. She visits her dreamland when she feels the need to eat, and it convinces her not to. Her weight is dangerously low. She locks herself in her room every night and her parents are concerned. Alice thinks she's fine, what's wrong with having your very own world where you're completely happy? But when Alice gets stuck in wonderland, she begins to learn that being perfect isn't everything. The things she always believed were lies--beauty is within you, everybody's beautiful as they are, blah blah blah...--are starting to make sense to her. Alice wants to learn to love herself again, but "recovery" isn't always as easy saying yes to food again and pretending you're all better.
