Sonic y Shadow han sido enviados a una misión para averiguar el paradero de Eggman, así que entran en su base para encontrar pistas que los conduzcan hasta su paradero. Pero no imaginaron que su guarida tuviera múltiples defensas junto a varios sistemas de ataque . Así que, por causa de su poca cautela y sigilo, terminan activando algunos robots de seguridad que el villano tenía en la base. Y que, seguramente, habría construido para mantener su base protegida de posibles intrusos, como por ejemplo; ellos. Al final, para evitar que los robots los descubran, terminan siendo obligados a esconderse en una especie de armario para evitar que los detecten. Pero a la hora de salir, se dieron cuenta de que...
