Rose Hathaway is a gaurdian, protecting the Moroi- good vampires- from the Strigoi- bad vampires- Rose has to find her best friend's illegimate brother to give her friend, Lissa Dragomir, a spot in the Moroi council. There is only one problem: Rose is in prison. She was accused of murdering the Queen.
