They get an arranged marriage to show the public eye that the Water and Wind Hashira do get along. Sanemi hated the idea not only because it was Giyuu, but he didn't want to tie Giyuu down with him, he was afraid. Giyuu on the other hand was not doing well he felt horrible, not about Sanemi but marriage in general, it killed him to think about being married.

This is a sanegiyuu story female Giyuu. She was originally somewhere far away like in the snow. So se never met any of the hashira but she is now. Sanemi first doesn't like her cause she is cold and quite and doesn't include herself with them and he thinks she thinks that she is better than them.Bit he learns the real reason and learns to love her.
