Willow's had her own problems, starting when she was five years old, when she developed type 1 diabetes and she's been anorexic since she was eight, now a recovering anorexic at sixteen. She also has "anger issues" as some people would say, and anxiety. Her mother left her with John Mayfield, her father, and her sister, Reese Mayfield when she was just nine. Her twin brother on the other hand, Jack Mayfield, mistakenly overdosed three years ago. Jim is always there for her though, he always calms her down. He's been her support system since she was diagnosed with diabetes. He helps her manage with her illness at school when she struggles, and he always makes sure she's okay.
