I'm not drawn to that idea, as I feel that Veldanava's role is precisely to be the creator, and that is what he should do. That said, this story is about Rimuru, but not the Rimuru everyone knows. In this version, Rimuru is an entity that appeared in the same way as Veldanava. However, instead of creating, he simply observed. For a very long time, he dedicated himself to watching how Veldanava created the universe, entertaining himself and having fun while observing. Rimuru, being an entity similar to Veldanava, added a bit of mischief, bringing some amusement to the process, but he had no intention of actively participating in the creation.
