This is my first book of poetry spanning several years. This book is dedicated to my daughter, Hera Boyd, for inspiring me to just put it out there. I love you to my family...Matt, my husband, Hera, my daughter, and Sebastian, my son. You make my life worth living every day!!

With the encouragement of others, I've decided to put some of my poems together in a book of sorts. One of the most common themes in my poetry is Yin and Yang; black and white; good and evil. My thoughts on this are: it doesn't matter who you are or what you think, because we each have these two forces working inside us. It's just up to us to decide which one comes out from day to day. If a line in a poem, or the poem itself reminds you of an experience you had, or sparks any new thoughts, I would love to hear what it is. Comments and suggestions are always welcome. Enjoy!!!!
