The 141 being snowed under with intel and digital tech they can't decipher, ask Laswell to send them a Digital Specialist to assist them. She is not what Ghost expects and she triggers changes in his life that he never expected to experience. This is a slow burn friendship/love story. I wanted to give Simon 'Ghost' Riley some much needed love, happiness and comfort. The story doesn't follow the events of the Modern Warfare stories, but does borrow details from canon. When Price told Ghost that he had to go to the United States for a solo mission where he would assume the role of a bodyguard to gather intel on an important target, Ghost was already feeling annoyed. He expected snobby people who would boss him around, maybe even having to tend to spoiled little brats like a babysitter. But nothing could have prepared him for you - because in a way, you were so much worse than anything he had expected. And the cruelest irony was that he found himself irresistibly drawn towards you.

From the second you joined the Taskforce as Captain Price's new assistant, Ghost couldn't stand you. Unfortunately, he was the one who had to come to rescue you after you were abducted by Makarov's men. To make matters even worse, you were now stuck in a safe house with him, with a snowstorm raging outside, and no way of leaving this house in the next few hours.

Captain John Price has everything you could wish for in a man. He is tall, muscular, his voice dripping with confidence every time he speaks. The only problem is that he's also your new guest professor, and he's making your heart skip a beat whenever he looks at you, causing it to almost burst out of your chest when he invites you to his office to help you with your thesis.
