What if all they knew was simply a mask? Something created to hide who he truly was, because society viewed people like him as monsters? 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐫𝐬? Well, if that's all they thought of him, that was exactly who he'd be. 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒: Self harm, manipulation, assault, homicide. 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐑: Although Kaminari is a psychopath in this, I am not. I do not know how a psychopath works and I will not be able to describe it perfectly because I am not one. Also, in no way am I saying all or even lots of psychopaths/sociopaths do this kind of thing. They usually become very successful, but legally. People with antisocial personality disorder are not monsters, muderers, or abusers by default. I'm giving it to him simply for the plot. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐊𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐢 𝐇𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐢.

Shouta has known for a long time that the world doesn't always work the way it's supposed to. Sometimes, people are born with quirks that take when all they want is to give. Sometimes, the bad guys win and leave worlds in ruin. Sometimes, traveling back in time doesn't give as much hindsight as it should. Now five years in the past and with a mission to stop the chaos to come, almost nothing is as it's supposed to be. Missions lead to dead ends, friends he watched die are alive again, and most importantly the key to their success, Midoriya Izuku, doesn't have a quirk.

The pressure in the back of his neck began to build yet again. It was incessant. Over and over it would slowly crawl up Bakugo's back before settling ,hidden, at the base of his neck. It would wait, taunting him of what was to come, before taking control and throwing his head roughly to one side or another. or; Bakugo develops late onset tourette's syndrome and refuses to believe it A Spanish translation can be found in a reading list on my profile!

Hawks has never felt love. not a day in his life. not from his parents, not from the hero public safety commission who raised him to be a hero, not from himself. sure, he felt liked, he had fans, a couple of friends, but loved? he had no idea what that was like. his life was run by panic attacks and periods where he could barely leave bed to go to work. his mental health was in the gutter, he was permanently burnt out. he begins to wonder why he was still trying to be a hero. until a rabbit hero, a struggling boy, a teacher, and a villain remind him. (Not very lore accurate I'm fully doing whatever I want with these characters) (All parts are subject to editing) (TW FOR: abuse, domestic abuse, self harm, suicide, alcohol abuse, talk of addictions)

Heroes are kind. Heroes save people. Heroes want to help people no matter what. Heroes are like All Might, smiling regardless of how a tough a fight is. Heroes, Izuku has learned, can also not be heroes at all. One article about a bad hero turns into four articles, then ten, then twenty and soon the whole country is reading about licensed villains playing at savior. Izuku writes them haphazardly, picking heroes whose wrong doings are masked by their fame. That is, until he meets Endeavor. In other words; the one where Izuku sees the fault in the hero system, makes it his mission to fix it with the help of one burnt fire-user vigilante, and eventually finds himself deeper in this mess than he originally planned. -:- Note this is a My Hero Academia fanfiction and any characters or aspects from the anime/manga belong to Kohei Horikoshi. Also note, the cover art is not mine but I couldn't find the artist either so if you do know of the artist, let me know. #1 in Analysis
