Why? Because I betrayed WICKED. Apparently, that's how they handle traitors-toss them into the Maze and hope they don't make it out. Typical. So, there I was, stuck in this nightmare, facing trial after trial with zero backup. But hey, I wasn't exactly known for giving up. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's surviving. Sure, the Grievers were terrifying, the Maze was a puzzle I didn't want to solve, and I had no one to complain to-but I was still breathing. And if WICKED thought they could get rid of me that easily, they were in for a surprise.

WICKED isn't finished with them. Not even close. Minho and Isla survived the Maze. They survived the Scorch. They survived everything WICKED threw at them.
