Legolas had just arrived back in Mirkwood, only to find out that he was to be wed. The elleth being (y/n) Aredhel, daughter to Lord and Lady Aredhel-two of the most strongest guards in Lothlórien ruled by Lord Celeborn and Lady Galadriel. They are soon sent off in a cabin in attempts to have them familiarize with each other. The two elves soon find out that not all challenges are found on the battlefield and that they had to work with each other to survive.

The Elvenking is like a very strong, old tree, deeply rooted in the kingdom he pledged himself to protect. He also pledged himself to protect his heart from love, out of fear that it might weaken him, but that proved to be disastrous. Love... what daunting word rubbed in his face by that fearless redhead elleth during the battle in Dale. Is there any love left in him? Follows what happens with Thranduil and Tauriel after BOTFA, during the War of the Ring and further into the 4th Age.
