After years of nothing, chaos broke in Ninjago City. Citizens have mysteriously gone missing, leaving the ninja in confusion. Weeks passed of this crisis, making the saviors feel useless, not being able to find a lead. Police have scouted the streets day in, day out, and alongside the ninja who traveled in shadows and atop rooftops. Their last adventure seemed to create consequences they never thought would snowball into something big. As a new force arises, the ninja struggle to keep up with the problems caused by their successful mission before, and the trouble being created by yet another villain.

Cole only ever wanted Jay to spend time with him but Jay only cared for Nya. After breaking off their friendship, Cole is suddenly faced with a new mission: to find a new best friend. But as Wu once said, the road you travel is never a straight path and what happens when Cole gets really sick?

Cole is an undercover spy sent to watch the Prince of fire for the Lightning Kingdom. When he gets caught he lies and tells him he's Aaron. But will his feelings interrupt the mission?
