Tim Bradford is the most popular player on the Los Angeles Rams football team. He's been playing for the Rams since he was twenty-five, after serving in the army for seven years. Lucy Chen is a cheerleader for the Los Angeles Rams. She is well-known but not entirely famous. People mainly know her because of her ex-fiancé, Chris Stanford, who is a famous movie star. They were set to get married just after the last season ended, but then Chris left her at the altar, calling her later to tell her he was getting married to his co-star, Ashley McGrady. Somehow Lucy was blamed by people, so when Tim proposes the idea of fake dating for their mutual benefit, she accepts. But over time, Tim and Lucy really fall in love, and the line between fake and real seems to blur.

Tim Bradford and Lucy Chen were once Hollywoods favourite couple, known for their chemistry in their acting and modeling gigs in the early 2000s. One thing Tim doesn't know is Lucy finally stepped down from her acting and modelling career a little over a year ago as she's wasn't getting as many jobs. As the true adrenaline junkie she is she tried to find a fast pace job that she can get with her qualifications, and she found her way to the police academy. She made two amazing friends and got assigned to North Hollywood Police Station. Shortly after becoming a P2 she transfered to Mid-Wilshire where she finds out the watch commander is her ex boyfriend that she will always be a little in love with. Tim Bradford. And what she definitely didn't expect is that they are both asked to go to Milan for a modelling reunion and they both agree without the other knowing.
