They started working for the Superhero Guild together before even coming of age. Tommy probably owed Tubbo his life ten times over. So, when the three supervillains he'd been assigned to bring in managed to take Tubbo hostage, well, there was really only one thing to do. He knew, of course, he was signing himself up for torture and death by offering that trade, but that was okay. It'd have to be okay.
