The story follows their relationship's ups and downs as they go about their life together. Lacey often looks back on earlier parts of their relationship and events that have molded her into the girl she is today. Come along as Lacey and Daddy's relationship develops and watch as Lacey blossoms.

This is basically the plot of the movie The Nice Guys but I've replaced Russell Crowe's character with a woman, changed the dialogue a little and made her a love interest to Ryan Gosling's character. Just contains some fun enemies to lovers-esque tropes (lots of forbidden pining from Holland) combined with the groovy 70s aesthetic. *I don't own any of the characters or events that happen in the movie this is just an adaptation*
