I created this book because I still can't fully accept the reality that ENHYPEN is no longer seven. As an OT7 stan, it's something that deeply hurts-especially because Heeseung has always held a special place in my heart.
Maybe this story is my way of coping. I've cried so much that it's left me completely drained. What makes it harder is that even in moments when I try to feel okay-when I laugh or smile-his image suddenly comes back to me reminding he's not in the group anymore.
People say, "He's not dead, he just left the group." That's true-but for me, it still feels like losing him forever. Like a part of me became empty the moment he left the group. I know only ENGENEs will truly understand what that kind of pain feels like.
So this story is about a girl who never had any interest in K-pop-until she discovered a group through I-LAND, a group that would completely change her perspective. They became the first K-pop group she ever loved... and also the first to break her heart.
She is an ENGENE who has been there since the very beginning-present at every event, concert, and fan meeting events. If there were an award for unwavering support, she believes she deserves it.
She has been there so often and consistently, that even the members themselves have come to recognize her.
Sometimes, she would mimic their iconic lines or bring up funny moments from past performances, making the members burst into laughter despite their exhaustion.
There was always a lightness whenever she was around-something comforting and easy.
But there was also something that puzzled them.
"How are you always here?" Jungwon asked, half-joking and curious. "It's like you never miss our schedule."
She simply shrugged, a small smile playing on her lips.
"Perks of being a billionaire's daughter," she said casually. "And being smart enough to make even more money."
The members laughed, shaking their heads as if they didn't fully believe her-but at the same time, it somehow made sense.
