My stomach dropped the second we made eye contact. He had long and dark brown hair, which curled under the baseball cap he wore backward. The subtle curve of his nose was covered in light freckles with piercing green eyes and lush eyelashes to match. He was tall and thin, carrying a beauty I couldn't comprehend. I didn't even let my eyes trail down to what he was wearing. I lowered my gaze immediately, feeling my cheeks grow hot. I watched his feet shift awkwardly in those navy blue Vans. *** Jannah is a nineteen-year-old Muslim just trying to get by. My reasons behind all of this. I do this to please our one and only creator, Allah Subhannah Wa Ta'ala. But it doesn't mean that it doesn't hurt me, it does, wallahi the words that I hear sometimes cause me to cry myself to sleep, they don't know that. [COMPLETED]. HIGHEST RANKING: #68 in short stories [16/06/16] "Wallahi you are so breath taking, so... I don't think a word is even created to describe your beauty." I took a big gulp, the moment he said those words to me, I can swear he must have heard it from how loud it was. "As the Prophet (saw) said in a hadith, 'When I met Yusuf (as), I saw that Allah (swt) has blessed him with half of the beauty of the whole world, while the other half has been spread over the rest of it' but in my eyes the rest was actually blessed upon you" I opened my mouth to say something but then nothing came out and I just stood there with my mouth open. "I've never seen anyone as beautiful as you, ever since the moment I laid eyes on you when we were kids I knew you were the one for me and no other girl could ever take your place" hearing him say everything he was saying, was making my heart beat escalate. "you are my first love, my first wife, my first everything and inshallah you will be my one and only even after my last breath" [Disclaimer: not edited, needs major editing]

HIGHEST RANK: #4 in short stories [27/09/16] "let me just tell you something, Allah, the Almighty, created women out of a man's rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal, under the arm to be protected and next to the heart to be loved, so don't go around saying mine as if she is your property" I just stood their staring at him, why didn't I encounter him before I met this monster. "Asma you better tell him to leave now or I swear I will tell him what you fear the most" the moment he said that I looked up at him with wide eyes. "You can't, please..." "Our love may have not started the way you wanted it, but it went the way Allah SWT wanted and Allah SWT's way is indeed the right way" Aladdin takes my hand and leads me further away from where the party was. "Ever since I laid eyes on you in the hospital I knew that I wanted you to be mine, I knew that the girl I've been praying for Allah, to send my way has finally come and knocked my door, that you were my queen" I stood their speechless as I stared at him. "My fear ever since we met was that you were going to leave me, before you even became mine, everything I did was to show my love to you, I know in your perspective it didn't look like that but I truly mean it I never wanted to lose you" a small giggle escaped my mouth as I started to remember some of the things he use to do. "I love you" he said the word I've been craving to hear all night, I opened my mouth to say it back for the first time but nothing came out. "I love you" he says again, then he waits for my reply but yet again as I opened my mouth nothing came out. "I love you my queen" he finally says as he turns me around to get a better look at my now extremely red face. I quickly looked down at the ground as a burst of confidence made its way into me causing me to say the one thing we were both waiting for. "I love you too my King."
