A woman and her friends move to Denver to chase their dream. She and her best friend live together in a three room apartment, through the years they'll meet two men that will become a large part of their lives. A highschool senior named Derek has been alone for over three years. His father has disappeared and now someone is out to get him but he doesn't know how to protect himself. One night at work he comes to meet a woman who would change the course of his life dramatically.

A young girl named Carter is struggling with challenges involving a scar she has had for many years. When she turned eight-teen she moved out of the city and onto a farm where she meets Kadin, a friendly farm girl that seems to understand Carter's problems more the she does. They become good friends when thoughts of the farm girl replace Carter's unattached girlfriend Carly. Soon, her and Carly's relationship changes, seemingly for the better and she finds herself stuck between Carly and Kadin who's sexuality is a mystery.
