She continued to work for the SSR after the war, where she meets Daniel Sousa. Just when Carters' life seems to be back on track, Steve Rogers returns and leaves her disoriented. Peggy then must make a choice that will change everything-including her worth.

Peggy Carter and her allies were living normal, or rather semi-normal lives. That is until one day a device was rigged to send them all into the future at different points. Now Peggy must find her companions, deal with the modern world, and fight off an increasingly persistent HYRDA. Can she do that all of that in a challenging 21st century? BOOK 2 If Charlotte and Jack seemed too good to be true... that's because it was. After the two had a major falling out, Charlotte moved out to the SSR's new Los Angeles bureau with Daniel Sousa. Despite missing her best friend Peggy terribly, Charlotte starts to get into the groove of things. BOOK 1 COMPLETED; RECENTLY UNDERWENT MAJOR EDITING Peggy Carter met Charlotte Rogers at a military base, the same one Charlotte's brother, Steve, was recruited to. Both of the girls were best friends and Agents at the SSR. During the war, they actually had some respect. Peggy fell in love with Steve. His closest friends- Charlotte, Peggy, and Howard Stark were all very sad over the loss of the best person they knew. They have a hard time getting over it, and things get worse when Howard is accused of selling weapons to US enemies.
