You're the daughter of Chief Swan, or Charlie, and you had just moved from your own hometown to Forks, Washington. You chose to live with your father for a bit since you both missed each other, and your mother isn't exactly an angel. The divorce your parents had was rough especially when fighting for custody over you. Unfortunately, your abusive mother won the custody battle. The separation from your father hurt, but now that's all gone. After moving back with him, you can finally gain some peace of mind...or not. I do not own Twilight. She end up going to public school and meets the Cullen's. Y/n is half wolf but mostly human, she can't change on command.
