Worker Drones work for humans on an "exo-planet", particularly being property of JCJenson (IN SPAAAAACE!). However, when the humans accidentally render themselves extinct after blowing up the planet's core, it sends the planet into a winter-like apocalypse. The Worker Drones began to gain sentience and settle on the planet in the human's stead, though this causes JCJenson to send "Murder Drones", officially known as "Disassembly Drones," to kill all Worker Drones. As the Murder Drones begin to build a literal tower of corpses, the remaining Worker Drones hide underneath the ice and behind blast doors built by Uzi's father, Khan. In the present, Uzi harbors dreams of saving the planet and gaining her father's respect by killing the Murder Drones, thus allowing the Worker Drones to live in peace. However, in this particular scenario, she'll meet a quite interesting and special drone in her scouting for materials for her sick-as-hell Railgun. Y/n lived on the exoplanet Copper-9 with his father and mother, he loved messing and learning with the innerworkings of technology and sorts since he was a teenager. It was destined as his parents worked for JC Jenson before moving. He and the friends he's made along the way work at a different branch of the company working on more experimental projects that the main company didn't have the time or need to focus on. They'd help from time to time in a few of the bigger projects. On one of these day's he was selected to be put in cryofreeze for one year at one of the sites but something went wrong during the experiment, the core of the exoplanet exploded killing everyone leaving it in a frozen wasteland. Some years in the future Y/n eventually wakes up from the cryofreeze now needing to survive this new world he's been put in.

You are a stowaway that managed to get on to copper-9 after sneaking into a drop pod accidentally launching yourself planet side. You were on the run from the law after killing your abusive parents. Armed with nothing but the clothes on your back and a makeshift knife you had it's up to you to make a new life on copper-9. I know this is different from my usual content, but I love this web series. This is my first time trying true fanfic, so I can't promise it'll be as good as my more original stories; however, I will still do my best to stay true to the original's content. This is also my first time dealing with some swearing, and I will keep it restricted to the ones used in the show. Additionally, I'm sorry to burst your bubbles, but this is NOT a reader x character story, it's only a reader insert. Finally, this story will have slower updates since I have to wait for the next episodes to come out; I unfortunately can't see into the future. Plot (Y/N) is a worker drone living in the bunker with his mother; however, calling the place safe is misleading because not only are the savage disassembly drones constantly trying to get in, but every few weeks someone goes missing without a trace. When (Y/N) is dragged into the den of the beasts terrorizing his home, he's soon forced to go down a long and twisted rabbit hole, while discovering that there's more to him than meets the eye. All characters belong to their rightful owners.

After escaping the clutches of JC Jenson, and escaping in a landing pod, Y/N is now stuck on copper 9. ......Alone and has no way of leaving. He will eventually meet the colony of worker drones, and bond with them and the murder drones who tried to kill him, and he will meet a young drone girl named Uzi. All while he has to survive, not just the danger of this planet and JC Jenson, but from his own demons himself. (Important notes before you read: While technically the reader could be any age or gender, most story beast will have the context of him being from 13-16 years old and male. Also, this story changes a lot of story beast form the original Murder Drones source material, mostly lore bits, but also a couple of things that happen in the show, just keep that in mind with you read.)
