A/N: After two weeks of unhealthy obsession, I've decided to write a fanfic for the first time in my life. This is The King's Men by Nora Sakavic (third installment of the All For the Game trilogy) but from Andrew's point of view instead of Neil's. I'm using the novel and Nora's extra tumblr content to try and be as realistic as possible. Can't guarantee I won't stray a bit, though. I've also taken a couple cues from naj10ajm03 on Archive. Obviously, if you haven't read all three of the books, this won't make any sense. But I hope you like it! All rights to the characters and stuff go to Nora Sakavic.

Neil Josten has been in Witness Protection for seven years, working as an ER nurse and avoiding getting close to anyone. When Andrew Minyard shows up in the ER with a dislocated shoulder, his world is flipped on its head.

Neil escapes from castle evermore after being Rikos pet omega ever since he presented when he was 13 years old. Somehow he finds his way to the palmetto pack and they take him in and offer him saftey and shelter. An odd alpha takes an interest in Neil and offers him protection. TW/CW: Sexual assault, Rape/noncon, self harm, suicidal thoughts, addiction, abuse, cannon-typical violence Gonna be kinda heavy ngl, as most of my story's do tend to be, so just take care of your self. You don't have to have read the all for the game series to understand this fic at all. There will be referencing obviously and the characters are all there, along with my own OCs, but other than that it's free rein to any who are intrigued. Though I really do recommend the series, it's probably my favorite books besides Harry Potter.

**** The drive back to Fox Tower was silent between Andrew's group. The Foxes victory against the Ravens left the team rattled with happiness. Matt and the others chatted away cheerfully on the ride back. Neil sat behind Andrew. He still felt the push of Andrew's lips against his. Neil brought hand up to his face and ran his thumb over his bottom lip, his heartbeat quickened as he thought about it. All his life he had been running, but the Foxes gave him a home. They refused to give him up, even though they now all knew who he was, where he had come from. But his past did not define him, he carried it with him, but it couldn't weight the Exy-player down anymore. Only the now counted, the present. - Neil had needed this appreciation. The auburn haired was feeling tingly all over, aching, sweating. Andrew lay beside him, following his example. His expression was saying something different than 'boring'. He was just as exhausted as Neil was. He turned away to not look at the striker. Neil wondered on that. As the blonde turned around to face him again, his eyes were glistening, his lips formed a tight line. "What are you-", Neil began, but Andrew's hand flew fastly in front of his mouth, covering up the words he intended to ask. "Don't talk", Andrew told him in a growly voice, "This ain't getting no easier with you" Neil took Andrew's hand off his mouth, which Andrew didn't protest against. "Geez", Andrew responded, then grabbed Neil by his waist and pulled him closer, not letting go of Neil's hand in the process.
