Tucked away in the wooded hills of upstate New York, Northwell Academy is more than a school. It is a legacy. Founded in 1891, Northwell has spent over a century shaping the minds, values, and futures of the next generation of leaders, artists, and scholars. They didn't add, funded by trust fund parents, and the ultra wealthy mostly attended. Except for one Allison Martinez, a girl from Salt Lake City, she was permitted on a grant that would change her life, or the schools foundation. Whichever came first,

A dark Mafia romance of survival, vengeance, and the quiet power of healing. Lyssa Celeste Vaelora has known nothing but silence. Now, hidden within the Black Family estate, Lyssa must learn to live in a world that doesn't hurt. Surrounded by the people who would burn the world to protect her-her brother, the Mafia family that took him in, and Damien, whose silence holds more affection than she's ever known-she begins to learn what it means to feel. A vampire raised by humans, an OCD elf, a hyper active werewolf and a grumpy angel have six months to reach a forsaken realm called The Firelands (formerly The Dragon Realm). Should be simple right? Its not like they have a group of hunters of their tail, have to find four mostly-unhelpful dragons and, in general, don't get along with each other. Nah, this will be easy. Can't be that hard to escape the goblin tunnels. A giant who fancies himself a chef can't be that much of a threat. And they certainly don't almost kill each other on one very awkward night in a vampire city. What could possibly go wrong? All Kalen, Zedkiel, Incendio and Theth have to do is survive the journey of a lifetime and see that they live long enough fix a realm that Fate gave up on fifty years ago. And Lady Fate is on their side right? .... Right?

[Completed] The Royal Guard of the Empire has faithfully served Byzantia for nearly three centuries now. Hand picked from foreign lands, these guardsmen hold no political ties, carry no agendas, and bare no creeds except to those who sit upon the Onyx Throne. They are vanguards, protectors, loyalists. They are Vangen. Change has come to the Empire. An Empress sits upon the throne now, destroying any who would rebel against her with both fire and iron. To the east, her loyal Vangen work to quash the newest rebellion, until a letter arrives one day, marked with the Empresses seal. The contents within bare only dread and disturbance for the Guardsmen. The Black Ministry, the former Emperor's cabal of Sorcerers, have turned against the Empress. The Vangen's return is bittersweet. The city they once called home is now a battlefield, every street a choke-point. Every home a possible nesting ground for rebels. The Royal Guard will have to fight tooth and nail to put down the Ministry and protect the Empress, but the deeper they go, the harder the lines begin to blur. In a world where good and evil does not exist, where then does a man's loyalty lie? (Comments and Feedback are always appreciated)

Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.
