Fifteen year old Maddie Hunter lost her parents when she was five years old due to a house fire. She was saved from sharing the same fate and was placed into an orphanage before she was fostered five years later. Their love story isn't a great one and soon, the child is left with her foster father who turns out to be a raging alcoholic. He takes his anger our on Maddie for the many years she is with him. But then they move to the town Forks where Maddie enrols into the local high school and meets those who will change her life forever. Read on to find out more.......
