Tord came back after The End. At first his friends didn't want to forgive him, but has time went on they grew to be friends with him again, even Tom. It was going well with all of them, until Tord confessed to Tom that he loved him. That really ticked Edd off, because he also wanted to be with Tom. That also led to Tord being killed. He managed to get a second chance at life, but as a ghost and no one could see him but Tom and maybe someone else... (Cover is mine and yes it is kinda bad but it's the best I could do TwT)

It was The End, but instead of the harpoon missing Tord, it hit him in the chest. He survived the crash and Pau and Pat saved him from massive blood loss by patching him up.
