Mawin soon noticed he was being watched, and when he did, he also turned his head in his direction. Their eyes met; Err could clearly see the starry sky, and he got lost in it again.
"I can see stars in your eyes." He wasn't aware he had just said it out loud. He also didn't notice that Mawin had blushed, but he hadn't looked away.
He felt like he could stay for hours looking at him, unaware, completely lost.
And then, from one moment to the next, he was no longer looking at his eyes, but at his lips. It was an involuntary movement, but even though he knew Mawin had noticed, he didn't seem to mind. He felt like he was in a dream, that nothing happening was real, that everything was possible. He wanted to, so badly, but deep down he knew he couldn't, and that he wouldn't, he shouldn't.
Then his brother called, saying he was outside waiting in the car, and although he cursed him in a thousand ways in his mind, he knew it was perfect to stop those thoughts he didn't want to appear.
