Amy Rose and Sonic the Hedgehog have been dating for quite some time now. Amy can hardly believe that the man who has saved her life multiple times throughout her life is her boyfriend. The blue hero of Mobius with a regular girl who lives far out on the city's outskirts. Amy believed that when Sonic finally accepted her, he would begin to warm up and match her affection for him. However, it seems her daredevil hedgehog boyfriend hasn't changed much since the days of her chasing him around. He's distant, rarely comes to visit her, and barely ever mentions his relationship with her outside of dates Amy plans for them. Shadow the Hedgehog is widely seen as a loner hedgehog that no one outside a few people can interact with successfully. The Ultimate Lifeform is still haunted by his past visions of Maria, his best friend, and granddaughter of Gerald Robotnik. He doesn't enjoy being around people, particularly Sonic due to his annoyingly enthusiastic personality contrasting to his own serious, focused one. No one has ever been able to make Shadow feel the way Maria has. No one has been able to make him hope again. On the night of Princess Sally's Birthday Ball, a truth is revealed to Amy about Sonic. Something...unexpected, causes her to run away from the party ashamed. That same night she shows someone the extent of her strength that she holds back. It's safe to say he's impressed... during a huge fight to the death with Mephiles Sonic was kicked to the side mid fight to the point where he passed out and went unconscious. Sadly, they did not have any chaos emeralds, which would've made the battle easier, shadow was left to be the only one fighting the big problem, Mephiles...while the others were fighting his goons shadow manages to defeat Mephiles but not without a brutal beat down, even for the ultimate life form he had his limits. When the fight was done, he was left there, two semi broken legs, a deep, deep cut in his torso, and cuts between his left arm. The others who are fighting alongside G.U.N have been left with bruises and many scars, but nothing compared to what the seemingly immortal ultimate life form had. After the battle was done and the world was saved shadow was still crippled, Amy was determined to make sure shadow will be perfectly healed and take care of him for as long as she needed to her motherly instincts wouldn't let it happen any other way also her will as well, and maybe a tiny bit of her early teenage crush on shadow. They grew closer to each other after spending a full week of recovery awkward, funny and sentimental moments that occurred during the week they had spent together also finding out what their true feelings are for one another.

Amy Rose has grown tired of chasing Sonic and decides to stop pursuing him. She never notices that Sonic had been in love with her the entire time, and she also didn't notice the other hedgehog who had been noticing her for months... These are not my characters. Five weeks ago, E123-Omega went on a routine mission. The mission, to destroy an old abandoned Eggman base. But, he hasn't returned yet. Commander Towers has called Agent Shadow and Agent Rouge in to find their missing partner, and bring him back safely. Shadow, however, hasn't been acting normal lately, and Rouge is worried for his health. And now cant seem to keep her feelings for the dark hedgehog secret much longer. Will Shadow finally catch on to all the subtle hints his teammate has been sending his way? Will the duo find Omega? You'll have to read to find out. So I know this opening is written really cliche, and the title really isn't the best. And I have changed it to be rated mature. There will be some lemons, although I'm going to build into and probably only do the one, since that really isn't the point of the story. And I'm probably going to make it to where if you don't to read that, I'll put it all into a chapter that will have no big impact on the story, so it can be easily skipped. So i wanted to take a crack at making a Shadouge story myself. I feel as though I can be a good writer, I just have some things I need to touch up on. I'm going to try to make this better than my ShadAmy story (which I still like, I just rushed the relationship to much, and really screwed up the ending I feel). Anyways, the point of rambling, is that I want constructive criticism for this story. I want to make sure it is the best I can do for the community that likes this ship. So any advice on future chapters, along with just general improvements to the story that you all think I could make. (By the way, take a shot every time you read the phrase 'open up' in this first chapter.) None of the art is mine, along with the characters involved. Then it hit me, Shadow was missing, Sonic was flirting with Sally, I felt like something punched me in the heart. After ten, long, painful years, I got a job as a spy with Rouge, with Shadow still missing, the missions have been harder, tougher. I changed, I was able to keep my jealousy for Sonic secret, I could control my emotions better now. I have a new mission, I have to investigate the life presences in the forest we would be putting an underground base.
