Grian once overheard them talking about a murder plan and Grian knew that he had to get over his fear as he would have to carry out murder plans as he sees fits. One day, the blacksmith's son, Scar, goes to the castle to deliver Grian's new sword. They got into a fun conversation and Grian ended up liking Scar. Scar's stressed about the Turf War, and Grian even more so. An unlikely admiration blossoms when the two leaders realise how similar they really are. The Turf War keeps them separate, but their love for each other brings them together. This is only a first draft (and my first fanfiction) so I will possibly be working things out to edit this story to its full potential.
