Ragnar spends most of his time on Berk just trying to keep stubborn Vikings alive through dragon raids, the occasional wave of sickness, and (most often) their own recklessness. His best friend, Hiccup, happens to be one of the most stubborn and reckless Vikings on the island and he proves it when he does the impossible during an otherwise normal raid. He also knows Hiccup needs to stop being so reckless but, at this point, that one's more hope than anything. Seven young adults living on their own island with basically no supervision.
