Maya is just an ordinary teenage girl. She's finally a Junior at Oakwood Highschool and what's even better is that she has her best friend Sarah by her side. Nothing could go wrong. But then it does. Maya is assigned a project, a very different project. The project is to live with an assigned partner for one month inside a small rental house. Sounds easy enough? Well it gets better. The couple are assigned a baby. No, not a doll. Some amazing woman have let unknown teenagers take care of their month old babies for one month. Well, it sounds crazy. But crazy is just what it is. Kaeleigh Vega was the junior with the most perfect life of them all; that was until she made the poor choice to get pregnant at age 16. The following year, when rates of pregnancy are higher than ever in her school, the principal calls in an organization called The Family Project, an organization partnered with the local foster home. Students involved live off campus for a month taking care of a baby in foster care with another student of the opposite gender. Unfortunately, Kaeleigh gets paired with Dylan Ross, the jokester/jock of the school. And what's worse is that Kaeleigh is starting to get hints of why she has such a special connection to the baby.
