Akatsuki Hikaru had always been a little different. After his neighbours, the kamado family get attack by a man eating demon and Hikaru rushes to help them, he along with Nezuko and Tanjiro are sucked into the dangerous world of demon. As they race to turn Nezuko back into a human and protect their loved ones from demons they find that the Akatsuki family is more complicated than Hikaru ever knew. All they can hope is that at the end they will all come out of it alive, but with Hikaru's self-sacrificing nature, that might be a bigger ask than they think.
