In the midst of doing so, she re-connects with an old friend and meets the upcoming Bronx rapper, Kay Flock. After sometime of being around each other, the two develop feelings for one another and take things to a new level while being in a relationship. Kay isn't really good at love and neither is Alani but they're willing to try for each other. Will it last?
