Short story I wrote in a few hours so I could flesh out some OCs' personalities and decide how I like these specific methods of interplanetary travel in my universe. A medieval-ish setting with travel into outer space being commonplace doesn't exactly mix well and it's been a problem since the beginning. Good luck understanding the lore.
