Charles è il capitano della squadra di Quidditch di Grifondoro, ed è ossessionato. Non solo dal Quidditch, ma anche da Max Verstappen, il capitano dei Serpeverde. Non ha ancora capito quanto si estenda questa ossessione (Spoiler: parecchio), ma sembra pericolosamente oltre il "è il mio rivale numero uno" e molto più vicino a "qualcuno-sta-negando-l'evidenza". Carlos è il Cacciatore dei Grifondoro, nonché migliore amico di Charles. E' anche -plot twist- il temibile fratello di Max. Carlos odia Max con tutto se stesso e Charles lo odia a sua volta, perché è questo che fanno gli amici. Max non sopporta nessuno dei due. Un po' perché sono Grifondoro viziati e spericolati che passano il tempo a fare scherzi idioti, un po' perché Max odia le persone. In generale. Come filosofia di vita. A sua discolpa, ha i suoi buoni motivi per avercela col mondo. Fuori dalle mura della scuola c'è una guerra, e lui sembra essere l'unico ad averne già dovuto pagare il prezzo, mentre gli altri continuano a vivere nella più beata ignoranza. Spoiler n.2: tutto sta per cambiare. Menzione speciale a Pierre Gasly, grazie al quale Charles e Carlos sono arrivati vivi al settimo anno, e a tutti i cameo più o meno caotici che incontreremo lungo la strada. 26.03.2025 - ?

Oscar choked on a french fry, lightly patting his chest and grabbing his drink to wash it down. "Have you thought about the fact that he probably likes the area?" "No! He goes there with a hoodie and a backpack, he's probably on his way home or something! Could you imagine? Spiderman could actually live in the flats opposite us!" Lando exclaimed, turning his head to the window and he could slightly see the same building. The world now becoming suffocated by the increasing darkness, the sunset long gone. Oscar pinches the bridge of his nose, "I think you're reading into this way too much, mate."
