This book is a collection of one-shots-scenes from stories that haven't been written yet. They belong to the next generation of my existing universe. Names are deliberately left out. Timelines are blurred. Some moments may never happen exactly this way. These are fragments. Glimpses. Pieces of future stories that keep playing in my head. Maybe you'll recognize them. Maybe you won't. Either way-welcome to the in-between.

oi.. Blue saree.. A college love story.

"you know what happened later on? she tried to elope with her lover on her wedding day" she came behind me narrating that useless story. I removed my shirt and hung it on the hanger.. She was following me on wherever I go.. I took a towel and went to the restroom. She was continuing with her narration and even followed me to the restroom. I turned back at her. "I am going to take bath. are you still gonna come inside?" I asked her and she remained rooted on the same place shaking her head as no. I closed the door and took bath.. Minutes later, when I came out she was still there outside the door. The moment she saw me, she continued her story following me, not even giving space to wear my pants. 'sss.. how can I control her?' I thought. "so what he did it was, he cheated on her , took her jewels and money..." her words were stopped. I pressed my lips hard on hers cupping her cheeks. She was awestruck.. Good.. I now found out a new way to shush her mouth..

"What do you say finally?" he asked her without pressing the buttons for the lift to descend. "I will never forget what you said" she stood firm on her decision. With anger evident, he pressed 'G' button and the lift descended down. He bent a little to her height. Snaking his right palm on the nape of her neck, he brought her close to him making their nose touch. "Fine. Don't forget anything. And remember this as well" saying it, he kissed her very smoothly, though he came with a force. Peep in to read this short story of Vishaka and Harish.

I saw her walking to and fro looking at the window and to the bed impatiently. She was clearly disappointed because of the rain. Clad in a white saree with simple accessories and free hairstyle, she was looking ethereal. When she returned from the window with a frown on her face, I grabbed her hand and made her sit on my lap. She gasped at my action. But it was swallowed inside my mouth as I latched my lips on hers taking her for a surprise. "enna .. enna pandra?" ( what are you doing?) she stuttered breaking our kiss. "ennennamo panna asa dhan.. panatuma? unaku ok va?" ( I want to do so many things with you, shall I ? is it ok for you?) Another short story of a cute couple.

"chakkarakatti" (chak-ka -ra -ka-Tea --- meaning sugar cube) he called her romantically. "hey.. I am not your chakkarakatti" she warned showing her index finger with a terrific face. "I did not say I am going to call you as chakkarakatti" he said smiling sheepishly at her. Another short love story of cute couple

"Who is that girl?" I turned around and answered with a shrug. Thatha wasn't convinced. And Dad looked far too entertained. I should have known better. Because silence worked on most people. On almost everyone. Just not on the two men standing in front of me. Unfortunately, I was related to both of them.

"How can you kiss my sister?" Avantika came near them and asked with her hands on his hips. Little angry at what he did. "like this" he said and pulled Advika towards him. Catching her waist, he quickly plastered an elegant kiss on Advika's lips again. With wide shock, Advika turned turned to see him standing so casually. Withdrawing herself from his hold, Advika moved to her sister side to avoid any other open kiss show in front of her sibling. "hey how dare you?" before Avantika could complete her sentence, he caught hold of Advika's hand and strode towards the door to go meet others downstairs.

"are you there?" she asked hearing no reply from me. "ya .. I am still on the call" "Do you really wish to proceed or did your parents force you for the meet tomorrow?" she asked. "I love you Abheri" I uttered confidently. Dive in to read the short story of Abheri and Mukunda.
