All she wants is for people to be scared of her, but what happens when only one person doesn't run cowardly to his mom whenever she's around. Keegan Rawson isn't really a bad boy. Though he may be big, strong and tough and doesn't take crap for no one, he wouldn't hurt Aimee. Though she does piss him off pretty much. Things start happening and now the once strong Aimee is now suddenly weak. She finds things out that she didn't even know existed and her world turns completely upside down. I, Shannon Maylon, had THE picture perfect life. I was popular, captain of the dance team, dating the quarter back of our football team here in little town Ohio. I am attractive, been past my acne faze for a few years now and am majorly fit. Everyone likes me . . . even the nerds who hardly even know me. Then all hell broke loose . . . literally. Just when I thought things were really looking up for me a vampire went and stumbled into my life. Yeah, not all the books crack it up to be . . . at all! No fancy romance, no glorious thing about it. Just some regular - well hot and mysterious - guy with a hell of a lot of issues I don't need to deal with. I'd just like to know when it will be over . . . according to the vampire, not anytime soon.

Chika has taken crap from everybody, nearly her whole life. Her dad thinks so low of her that he beats her up every night because of what she didn't do and none of the people at school will be her friend because they know about her. Everyday is a test for not to run away but when she's welcome into an academy her whole life changes.
